Alexandra Slusher has worked and ridden with Hawley since 2007. Until her recent marriage to Matt Slusher, Allie worked as Hawley’s full-time groom. Allie joined Hawley on her trips to all the events to include Badminton Horse Trials in England in 2007 and Rolex Kentucky 4-Star in 2008. Becoming close friends, Hawley also coached Allie on her own horses Last Call and Juicy Couture. In 2008, Allie won the CIC 2-Star at Galway Downs International Horse Trials aboard Last Call. With Hawley’s help, Allie is hoping to finish this year at the 3-Star level on Last Call and the 2-Star level with Juicy Couture. Over the last two years Hawley and Allie have become like family, and through their continued friendship and working relationship they plan to achieve many future goals together!

Mike Morris lives in Murrieta and only started riding about 2 years ago. He bought his first horse, a young Arabian mare (Sienna), in August of 2007 with the intention of doing endurance racing. Mike went to Hawley a few months later with the aim of getting a little dressage training for his mare and himself. As Hawley got to know the pair better she suggested eventing. Mike thought that sounded kinda cool! He still plans to do endurance but is really excited about eventing. " I feel incredibly fortunate first, to have found such a great new passion and, second, to have the opportunity to ride and train with such a great instructor."
